So.. I dont write here alot.., and I dont have many followers. But it is my duty to report to you about Sweden (Or so I believe)

We have this thing here called FRA (Försvarets Radioövervaknings Anstalt - The Defence's Radio surveilance Institution) and what they do is that they read all textmessages and listens to all phone calls in Sweden.

Now last regime we had (Social Democrats) they wanted to put up a bill for a law which would let FRA read all internet traffic going in to Sweden. But they never did, since the election came in close and well, they didnt want to risk it. They did loose however, and now it has been two years since the election, and I used to believe the new government, the liberals, that they were a nice bunch. Caring for the people.. Doing nice stuff and so.

Now, they modified this law and sent it up for the parliament to vote. And.. So, they, did. And they got it through! Sweden is now officially one of the most supervised (Or will be) countries in the world actually. Jan 01 2009, that is the date for when I cannot trust what I do on the internet might fall into wrong hands. Sure, the data looked over is filtered and only the stuff picked up by the filter goes into the saved box. But what if one of the guys over at FRA decides, "Hey, why not stalk this poor sod".. After all, they are only human.

And sure, they modified the bill so that ANOTHER instance will watch over FRA. So the watchers watch the watchers whom watch us.

It is not a nice feeling knowing that what you do will be closely watched by unknown people operating from wherever. Even if its not tomorrow, it just could be.

It is not a nice feeling realising that the politicians the people of Sweden elected, don't care for the people. There was a major demonstration out side of the parliament today, many youth parties (Whom does NOT feel like their parent parties) demonstrated together for a common cause. This is unusal, very unusual. And still, they went together and only one.. Only one party member of the Alliance (The parties forming the ruling government in Sweden) voted "NO" against this law. This law that is going to infringe on our personal rights as human beings, and she had a real hard time doing it, much pressuring. And our "beloved" prime minister was watching football during this crucial time of the destruction of democracy. In the not so free Sweden, not anymore.


TL;DR:
Sweden is no longer a free state, it will be watched over like George Orwells 1984. Great job!
